History Day

Friday 26th May is London school’s History day and Gallions Mount are delighted to be taking part.

We would like to invite all children to dress up on the day as someone famous from London’s history.
Costume ideas could include:

- Suffragettes
- Punks/Rockers
- Pearly Kings and Queens
- Famous Kings and Queens (such as Henry VIII or Elizabeth I)
- William Shakespeare
- Musicians (such as Freddie Mercury or David Bowie)
- Mary Seacole
- Winston Churchill

Or find more costume ideas at the London Assembly website:

We encourage the children to use clothing/costumes they may already own or things that can be borrowed or recycled.
The children will spend the day celebrating London’s history and learning more about the people who have lived here and impacted the city.

Thank you for your support.
