Futures Week

We have lots of wonderful things planned this week as part of Futures Week!

On Tuesday we are having a visit from some of the team at Enabling Enterprise. They will be working with all children throughout the school to bring the world of work into the classroom. They will be taking on Operation Moon Base which will see the children building a new society for the moon. Year 3 and 4 in particular will be making theirs out of recycled materials. Once complete the children will have to present their societies to the rest of the class and encourage and persuade them to purchase their build.

Wednesday will see the children learning how to manage their money and on Thursday some of our parents will be visiting the children and talking to them about the sorts of work and jobs they do.

On Friday we would like to encourage all pupils to attend school dressed up for a job they would like to do in the future and we have a special visit from PC Shaw who is keen to see the variety of jobs our pupils would like to do.

It is going to be a super exciting week and we are looking forward to all of the amazing activities planned!
