Poppy Display

Every child at Gallions Mount has worked hard to up-cycle plastic bottles to create their own interpretation of the famous Poppy Wave and Weeping Window displays.

Our children cut bottles at both ends and hand painted them to create a beautiful sea of red poppies outside our building. While creating the poppies the children learnt about Remembrance Sunday, The Centenary of The First World War and discussed events that will be taking place throughout London this weekend.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work and effort the children have put into creating and completing the display and learning about Remembrance Sunday.

The display can be seen outside our school building on Purrett Road.
