Young Voices 2019

On Monday night the Gallions Mount choir participated in Young Voices at the O2 arena in Greenwich. The children sang with over eight thousand other children from around the country in one big choir.

Since September the children have been practicing 14 songs ready for the event and gave it their all on the night. They arrived at 1:30pm and began rehearsals right away. After a dinner break at 5pm, parents and carers began to arrive and fill the audience seats ready for a 7pm show time.

As well as performing themselves, the children and parents and carers at the O2 were treated to performances from Britain's Got Talent Golden Buzzer act, Beau Dermott, Spandau Ballet star Tony Hadley, Basement Jaxx's Sharlene Hector, the Urban Striders and were amazed to have received a message from Hugh Jackman!

It was a truly wonderful night and it was loved by all!

We can't wait to do it all again next year.

If your child is in year 3-6 and is interested in joining the choir then please contact the school office.
