COVID-19 Lockdown Learning

Links and ideas for home learning during the COVID-19 school closure

Below you will find some useful ideas and links to learning resources that will help support your child's learning while they are absent from school during this difficult time. The images link to learning resources and activities that can be completed in addition to the work packs that were sent home.

We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone and as much as it is important for the children to continue with their learning it is also important to remember to have a break and do something different, like bake a cake, read with your children or join in with Joe Wicks and his 9am PE lesson.

Our closed parent and carer Facebook Group has become somewhat of an online community where we are now sharing images of things the children have been doing at home, sharing useful links and tips and maintaining the positive collective spirit that we are proud of. If you wish to join this group as a parent/carer, please ensure you have completed the terms and conditions form accessible through Parent Mail, alternatively you can follow us on Twitter @GallionsMount.

If you require any help and support during this difficult time, please call (0208 854 2691) or email us (info@gallionsmount.greenwich.sch.uk) and we will try to help as best we can. Please note that our phone lines are being operated on a very small scale and as most members of staff are working from home, there may be a slight delay in response time.

Stay safe and look after one and other - We are all in this together!
